Scouts & Guides

Hands that serve humanity are far better than lips that speak of humanity. Feelings of humanity and spirit of service is the most needed qualities in today’s life. To upkeep & instill these sterling qualities, our Vidyalaya has enrolled students from the primary as Cubs & Bulbuls & from the secondary as scouts & guides. Every year a number of students are induced into these movements.

Activities such as preparation of proficiency badges at various levels are a regular practice. Practical knowledge is gained. Motto , pledge, flag song & laws are the major areas wherein students are trained. Above all, participation during various testing camps & Jamborees are seen in great numbers. The ultimate goal is to help students develop morally & feel the sense of patriotism.

Cubs and Bulbuls
Following students participated in cluster level celebration of Childrens Day / Cubs Bulbul Utsav on 14.11.11. and 15.11.11.
1) Yamini Padmapriya of III A won first prize in fancy dress competition.
2) Won first prize in cooking without fire competition .
3) Chhaya Sharma of IV A won first prize in hindi poem recitation competition.
4) Group dance came second .
5) 3rd in Den making competition .
6) 2nd runner-up in hindi skit competition.
